The frame of the KALCT features an innovative design that achieves both exceptional lightness and durability.

All major components—the shaft, ribs, and stretcher—are made from lightweight, high-strength carbon fiber, a material also used in aircraft. Its high elasticity provides flexible strength, making it resistant to breaking in strong winds.

Furthermore, a proprietary integrated joint molded from resin is used instead of traditional metal rivets. This design effectively disperses impact when the umbrella inverts, significantly reducing the risk of damage.

This combination of materials and structure allows it to withstand winds of up to 15 m/s and pass a 500-cycle open/close durability test. As a result, this full-sized umbrella offers exceptional toughness while weighing only around 172g, making it one of the lightest in the world.
